The house is in San Colombano (1000m) - a peaceful and quiet village in
the high Valtrompia valley. It is surrounded by mountains (up to 2000m)
such as Corna Blacca, Dosso Alto, Monte Colombine; forests, river streams,

It is the perfect place for a simple mountain life - ideal for nature

in his tiny truck, selling fresh fruits, vegetables, plants and herbs
(many coming from organic farms). Fresh eggs, local cheese, butter
and
milk, can be bought at Maria's farm - 5 minutes walk.
There are 2 supermarkets - Silvio's Supermarket: where you can find local
salami, cheese, grapes, wines, pasta, etc and the famous salamine (a fresh
local sausage to be cooked on the barbecue or fireplace); and Colombano
Market - where they specialize in cheese.
Also there are several restaurants with excellent regional cuisine.
Among them La Scaletta, La Stella, Agroturismo "El baita".
There are 2 hairdressers, a post office, church, nursery, school, two
pizzerias,
and tennis court. All of these are within 5 minutes walk of the house.
From mid July to mid August there are concerts, dances, events every
night, in the centre of the village (with a free creche for children
in the afternoon)
