Take a boat rental at Agde near Beziers, on Canal du Midi, cross the Etang de Thau, and take the Canal du Rhone from Sete to Aigues Mortes, St Gilles and Beaucaire. From Agde only return rentals are possible to explore the Camargue portion of the Canal du Midi. However you can take a one way rental on many boats from Agde, and explore the canal towards Sete, and Beaucaire; or towards Narbonne, and return the boat to our other boat rental base at Carcassonne
Alternatively rent a boat from Montpellier Carnon, enjoying the nearby Mediterranean beaches, the cosmopolitan culture of Montpellier and benefit from the close proximity of Montpellier Airport. Take a boat on Canal du Midi via Sete, Agde, Beziers, to Capestang, Narbonne, to the other port from this base - Homps Boat Rentals Base (one way possible). Or go north to via Canal du Rhone to Beaucaire, Aigues Mortes, St Gilles.
