In the heart of Languedoc, near a pretty village, near Carcassonne (medieval city, with world renowned 13th century chateau, and UNESCO world heritage Canal du Midi - you will enjoy living in this large modern and comfortable house.

AIRPORTS: Carcassonne (15 mins) and Toulouse (60 mins) where car hire facilities are available. Other international airports are Montpellier (2 hours), Perpignan (2 hours), and Barcelona Gerona (2.6 hours). There are also train services in Carcassonne connecting to TGV rail throughout France.

The house is composed of 3 independant parts, that are possible to be rented according to the requirements of the rental client. The house and its facilities, has as its maximum 16 persons.

MAIN HOUSE (140m2, Ground Floor)
Sleeps 9 persons

Living room dining room, opening onto a large terrace; library bedroom with double bed; kitchen opening onto terrace, utility room; 3 bedrooms each with a double bed, and 1 office bedroom with double bedroom, with doors to terrace; bathroom with shower, WC, and washbasin.

HOUSE ANNEXE (62m2, Ground Floor)
Sleeps 2 - 4 persons

Living room dining room with 2 single sofa beds, bedroom with double bed, opening onto pergola. Corner kitchen.

STUDIO (41m2, First floor)
Sleeps 3 persons

Corner kitchen, shower room with shower, WC, washbasin; living room with fold out sofa bed for one person, and one double bed.

The house has a beautiful Mediterranean garden, with abundant flowers, well landscaped, on a number of terraces, and pergolas, that create an itimate and natural charm to each part of the house.

From the lowest terrace, the surrounding natural environment surrounds a beautiful swimming pool, agreeably sheltered.

Pets are welcome. Horses can even be accommodated in 2 stables.

Domaine de Saint Andre, is near the village of Montclar (where there are no shops). The nearest shops, can be found in Rouffiac (4kms), and for all services, visit Limoux (15kms) or Carcassonne (16kms).

The Razes is a pretty hilly area close to Carcassonne, with numerous walks, and pretty villages to visit. However of course - Carcassonne is the premiere place to visit with its Medieval city crowned by a cathedral and 13th century castle - featured in many films - and centerpiece of music festivals, firework displays, and historic pageantry. Nearby too is Limoux, known for its Carnival, medieval streets, and its sparkling white wine; and a some miles further is Rennes Le Chateau - one of the mystical places featured in the Da Vinci code and Holy Blood Holy Grail.

Through the central valley of the Aude runs the UNESCO heritage masterwork - the Canal du Midi, with its lovely lines of plain trees, canal side restaurants, and picturesque boats.

Activities abound from in the area from horse riding to golf, walking and exploring, water sports, VTT mountain bike trails.
