Description

The house is on the side of a small hill, and is below what was once the outer walls of the village. A mixture of a few villas, gardens, and open land surround the house. It is a short walk to the center of the village which boasts a good selection of shops, market, and there is a good social environment.

Off the road the house is entered by a wide entrance with parking for 3 - 6 cars, with a covered central shelter that is big enough for 2 cars. Above the parking area, gardens, and the hill provide a private and secluded environment.

The main entrance is via a small outer porch, that enters into a small hallway with doors to separate WC, with washbasin (and door to exterior but enclosed utility area for garden equipment); an office that is now used as a fourth bedroom (there is a window between the office and main living area); and main doors open onto the main living area

The main living area, has a high ceiling with large wood beams crossing the room. Along one side sliding door windows, open onto a big terrace, with plenty of room for outside dining. The terrace is private but has good views.

The room to one side has wall unit with shelves, and cupboards, with a satellite television - there is a satellite dish to one side of the house that receives English as well as international TV stations. The house also has ADSL internet access.

On the other side of the main living area is a fitted kitchen, with oven, cooking rings, refrigerator, sink, with filtered water tap.

From the kitchen a door leads into a wash utility room, with a small mezzanine area; here there is the pool equipment, as well as water softener; washing machine, dryer, and utility sink. There is a window that looks over the swimming pool. At the back of the room there is a door that opens onto the pool area, with access also to the garden, and gardeners utility working area. The wash utility room is large enough to turn into an independent studio or additional bedroom.

Along the other sides of main living area is the master bedroom, with en-suite bathroom with bathtub, shower, WC, double sinks. The master bedroom has glass doors opening onto the terrace, shared with the main living room. Also along the back of the main living area are 2 bedrooms, which have between them a bathroom with shower, washbasin, and WC.

The house has mosquito screens on all the windows, as well as double glazing. There is also air conditioning in the main room, which also acts as a heater in the winter months. Otherwise there is electric heaters in all the rooms.

Behind the house the garden and line of trees keeps the house private - the garden is irrigated from its own well
