Old bridge, St Thibery, Herault, Languedoc

Old bridge, St Thibéry

Close to the town of Pezenas, in the attractive village of St Thibery, spanning a lazy river is this relic of days gone by, now used only by pedestrians, and the odd bike. Built in 1592, it is close to the village that has an unusual mix of history and natural treasures - an older Roman bridge, a basalt quarry, and a 15th century abbey church
