The entrancing weaving of the vines - one of the sights of winter

The landscape of the Minervois and St Chinian is magnificent in winter with the vigneron proud at work cutting vines for the coming season, leaving a tracery of vines dancing and parading. Montouliers is an almost Italian looking village slightly lifted above the Aude valley, about 30 minutes drive from Narbonne, and there are many pretty walks in the vines and hills around
