Not far from the strange rocky landscape of Sidobre, nestles the pretty village of Brassac, where you can still see where the water spun the wheels to make the wool. There are a fine couple of bridges, perfect to walk and wander over, after a café, with fine views of the chateau and the village.

This pie shaped piece of land was constructed in the 13th century using radiating ditches that fed a central well so that salty water could be drained. The view is from a Roman hill top town and fort called the Oppidum of Enserune that has a fine museum, as well as a large number of ruins that have been excavated
