 Front of Bergerie The Buildings The Bergerie The owners have completely renovated an old ruined bergerie into a lovely private house, which commands grand views over garrigue, vines, to the distant Mount Tauch. The approach road, is above a country road, and enters into a courtyard, above the wine cave, and to oneside of the main house. Entry is through a part gravelled garden with flowering trees, and roses that grow up the side of the house. There is an outside built barbecue.  Bedroom The house (100m2), is built into the side of the hill, with steps contouring the climb of the hill (otherwise it has one floor). The house includes a dining room, living room, 3 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, dressing room, and hall. The house is in excellent condition. There is deisel fuelled central heating. Garage There is a garage next to the house, with a surface of 45m2 including 20m2 open to one side.  Wine Cave The Wine Cave Below the house, is the wine making cave, with a surface of 120m2. It is half sunken and insulated. The fermenting vats have a capacity of 94,100 litres, in 17 vats varying in size from 2500 - 8500 litres, made out of concrete (the majority with an epoxy coating). The wine cellar is equipped with an eggrapoir, grape pump, press, pumps for wine, temperature regulators, turbopigeur and cliqueur of oxygen. See details of equipment The vineyard and grape varieties in the Domaine The total surface of the Domaine is 20 Ha. The vines in production represent 11,2893 ha (9,8503 ha in AOC Rouge, 0,6070ha in AOC Blanc, and 0.8320ha of Vin de Pays of Cucugnan); 1,4140 ha of land with planting rights for AOC; the remainder being composed of lands, moors, and garrigues. Grape varieties are: AOC Corbieres Rouge: Syrah 46%, Carignan 33%, Grenache Noir 18%, Cinsault 3%. AOC Corbieres Blanc: Maccabéo 82%, Grenaches Blanc 18%. Vin de Pays de Cucugnan: Syrah 45%, Carignan 24%, Cinsault 24%, Grenache Noir 7%. The fields in Syrah, Black Grenache and Maccabéo were planted between 1982 and 2002, and are in rows separated by 2 meters and are with wires; those in Carignan are much older, planted between 1930 and 1975, and carried out in goblets. The vineyard is for sale with all the necessary equipment - tractors etc. The annual production is approximately 45,000 litres of AOC Rouge, and 2500 litres of AOC Blanc. For the harvest of 2004, the production was 47,500 litres: 41,700 AOC Corbieres Rouge, 3300 litres of local wine of Rosy Cucugnan, and 2500 litres of local wine of Cucugnan Blanc.
