Sometimes one yearns for the taste of something different from the usual French menu - and Restaurant Asia provides the place to go. This restaurant is popular and is often busy over the weekend (so make reservations), and has interior decor that transports one away to Asia. The menu selection includes good Languedoc wines, and a mix of Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai dishes that are enjoyable. One can walk to the restaurant from the main square in Narbonne in front of the Archbishop's Palace, taking Rue Droit, to Place Bistan (in fact following the roman road Via Domita). If you like - visit Horreum - a fascinating underground Roman warehouse, very close to Restaurant Asia.
