La Restanque Restaurant, Argeliers, Aude, Languedoc

It was good news to hear that the once "La Montio" restaurant, has now been brought back to life as "La Restanque", in the center of Argeliers, a village strong with vigneron and wine traditions (birthplace of Marcelin Albert - leader of the 1907 wine growers rebellion that started in Argeliers). Take a refreshing dip in this large swimming pool, that in days gone by doubled up as a movie theater in the evenings. Enjoy the good pizzas, salads, and steaks in this welcoming restaurant. There is ample room under the shade of trees, or inside in the airy restaurant.
