La Carmagnole, Perpignan, Pyrenees Orientales, Languedoc Roussillon Restaurant of the Month (October 2006) Enjoy home style cooking at La Carmagnole, Perpignan I enjoyed a delicious and very reasonable priced meal at this charming welcoming restaurant in the centre of Perpignan. I was especially happy as they were serving a late lunch (2.30 pm) that was more in keeping with Spanish dining hours. I suppose one could say this was Catalan cooking, indeed Perpignan is full of the south feeling. That is a warmer, hotter, sense of life. The restaurant is not too far from the Cathedral - which is larger than life, and well worth the visit to its inner self.
