For a good restaurant, with a fine terrace for summer dining, visit Bages and La Table du Pecheur. The interior is colorful with numerous artwork, with views over the etang. The selections are a little over brazen as far as varieties of taste, however presentation is good with surprises to make a visit worthwhile. Good wine. Christianne and Serge Canavesi make excellent hosts.

Bages is 8 kms from Narbonne, and is excellent for both evening or day visits. There are some excellent art galleries in the village, as well as picturesque streets, and sign posted walks, where you can learn about the interesting history of the fishing village.
