Restaurant Le Terminus, Cruzy
Seeking a special place to go to with the special person in my life to go eat in winter in Languedoc, was pleasantly rewarded by Restaurant Le Terminus, just outside the pretty village of Cruzy, on the road to Quarante, near to Beziers and Carcassonne.
This restuarant in a well renovated railway station, was a warm and comfortable place to go on a dark Mediterranean night. We were both friendly and informally greeted, and waited on by jovial, and sometimes English speaking hosts. The atmosphere was further enhanced by candlelight and recorded music carefully chosen to enhance the night.
The menu was ambitious, and we ate well on on light entrees full of flavor and distinction, followed by trout and in my case lamb. The desserts sent us both into ecstasy.
