Stay at this lovely villa, with 8m x 4m swimming pool, not overlooked, just outside Argeliers, a pretty Minervois village, on the Canal du Midi, 25 minutes from Narbonne, and 45 mins from the Med.

DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATION
The villa is situated off a quiet country road on the outskirts of the village.
The front door opens into a small entrance hall with a bedroom immediately to the left and two double bedrooms and a large bathroom complete with bath, shower, WC and washbasin accessible to the right.
The entrance hall leads to a large beamed lounge/dining room with TV DVD Stereo insert fireplace and patio doors that open directly onto a terrace overlooking the garden and pool.
There is a large fully equipped open plan kitchen with gas and electric hobs; electric fan assisted oven, microwave and fridge freezer. Adjacent to the kitchen is a utility area with washing machine double sink and additional fridge for cooling drinks and a separate shower room and WC.
The property also includes a large garage with internal door to the utility room.
Outside the mature sheltered garden is ideal for sunbathing or relaxing in the shade under the Pine and Mulberry trees, perfect for al fresco dining.
It comes complete with BBQ, garden furniture and its own private pool (approx. 8 X 4 meters)
To the rear is the entrance drive with parking for several cars and space for the occasional game of Boules.
There is electric heating in every room. The villa is private and not overlooked.

ARGELIERS
Situated in the village of Argeliers all local amenities are close to hand and the village contains a restaurant two bakers, two butchers and mini supermarket along with other small shops.
SURROUNDING AREA
Three minutes walk from the Canal du Midi between Carcassonne and Beziers, Argeliers is the perfect base for exploring the Languedoc region. To the North and in the heart of the Minervois wine making region is the picturesque Cathar village of Minerve. Perched on a rocky outcrop and approached by a bridge spanning the gorge of the river Cesse it was the site of the famous siege and martyrdom of the Cathar Parfaits by Simon de Montfort in 1210
To the west is the magnificent medieval walled Cité of Carcassonne and beyond, towards the foothills and mountains of the Pyrenees are the outstanding Cathar castles of Queribus and Peyrepertus rising out from the peaks of the Corbiers.
The villa is just 45 minutes from the endless sandy beaches of the Mediterranean and near to the historic town of Narbonne, with its cathedral, markets, Roman remains, restaurants and excellent shopping
