The sharp angle of the sun, descending in the sky, creates eerie colors over the Minervois landscape.
Here, near Minerve, and Cesseras,
the land has been ravaged by a forest fire, so the fields are blackened with burnt trees and brush.
But ever resilient nature, has put a green stamp to it, and who knows how it will grow green next year.
Forest fires are a constant worry, and fire crews are often found on hill tops, and village squares ready to battle
as quickly as possible the flash that becomes a fire. With the hot bright sun, and the wind - be extra careful with fire, or glass!
