This part of France is the home to numerous capitelles, in corners of fields, or hidden under garrigue. One could say they are the palaces or temples of the shepherd - shelters from wind, sun, winter, and the wild. This one is on a small outcrop just a short walk from the village of Aigne, in the Minervois. Languedoc, South France.
