Walk in the
town of Beziers where wine is king
Beziers is a
town, that has secrets at every corner. The magnificent Cathedral
is well worth a wonder, - climb its tower if you can - the views are
superb. Walk along the Canal du Midi and marvel at the mix of architectural
beauty and engineering. Visit Le Jardin du Plateau des Poètes
as you walk into town from the railway station. Take in one of the
chateaux of the area's wine barons - including Chateau de Belle-Ile which houses the largest private auditorium in France. The Mediterranean
beaches are a short drive away and include such resorts as Portiragnes,
Cap d'Agde, Agde, Marseillan Plage.
