Sparkling wines come from the country near Limoux
Go west from Limoux, the sparkling wine capital of Languedoc - where
wine sparkled before the days of Champagne. Limoux famous for its
month long celebrations of carnival - well worth a visit during the
beginning of the year. Go west and get a feel for the magnificent
landscape with proud historic villages amongst rolling hills, vineyards,
forests, with the distant background of the grand Pyrenees.
