Saint Claude, Jura, near Lyon - a pipe smoker's mecca
A little to the northwest of Lyon, lies the beautiful department of Jura, with lovely valley, mountains and lakes. Nestled here is Saint Claude, a thriving town known for its pipe making (3 million a year), and diamond cutting. The town is perfectly located for magnificent walks in the region as well as visits to nearby Geneva and Switzerland.
