Photo feature - November 23 2005

Clear skies, golden browns, vivid greens, brilliant sea - a palate of the elements of Languedoc in South France

Languedoc is wondrous in November, when walks and drives in the country are peppered with the spectacular colors of nature. The country is empty, except for vignerons pruning the vines, readying for the next season. Its a perfect time for walking, though wearing bright colors is necessary to avoid getting shot at by hunters!
