CAPITELLE
Sheperd
Guardian of sheep
Slept the night
Stars bright
Sentry
Cave of man
Wood smoke
Baas of lambs
Stranger
Winds of silence
Almond blossom
where
Hill meets heaven
(There are
many capitelles, or sheperd dwellings
in the hills of the Minervois, and St Chinian.
Perhaps they are the first homes after living in caves,
perhaps they are relics of an ancient religion)
